The Rubank Blue Books have been around for quite some time and they still work great. I first used these 50 years ago when I studied the clarinet and saxophone. And when I went back to re-learn these instruments a couple years ago, I discovered that my new teacher is also using them.If you are using these to teach yourself just remember that each page is a Lesson and I only took one lesson per week when I was starting out. The lessons build on each other and Rubank has a nasty habit of throwing in little things in the exercises that force you to remember and apply what you supposedly learned in a previous lesson. :-)So pace yourself accordingly, don't skip lessons, and don't try to rush through anything.

As a student and teacher, I've always liked the Rubank books. However, many students I've had can find them dry because they focus mostly on technique and don't always include many recognizable tunes. This is very true of this particular beginners book, so I would not use it as the ONLY book a for a beginner. However, it is very good at what it is designed to do, so I would use this book to develop technique in combination with a book like A New Tune a Day, which focuses more on playing recognizable tunes. For a student who really enjoys the clarinet and wants to excel, Rubank offers a focus on developing technique that is missing from most of the band method and other beginners books.

This clarinet book was exactly what the teacher recommended! It is a good second book to the initial beginner book. It breaks down every lesson for beginners to advanced players. My daughter thinks it is best suited for 7th or 8th grade. My daughter has improved with the things that this book taught her. I would recommend this book to anyone that has already mastered a beginner book. It challenges a player but isn't so hard that they lose confidence or interest.

This remains the standard for learning the clarinet. I have been away from the clarinet for about 50 years. I used this book when I first started so I went back to it. It is coming back very quickly. The only difficulty is the old fingers and lungs do not want to cooperate. I would recommend this to anyone who is beginning the clarinet. The exercises, though they may seem boring, do develop the skills needed to play the instrument well.

I love the Rubank books. I have been using them for years. Just the fact that they are still in print is an indication of how good they are. I had two semesters of clarinet over 40 years ago, but don't remember much, so this will help me get back to it.

If you never picked up a clarinet before, you will need instruction on how to hold the clarinet, proper posture, breathing, etc. You will also need a basic knowledge of reading music. Otherwise, an excellent series of exercises for learning the clarinet, which yours truly is working on.

Best of the best. Been around forever. I learned from it in the 50s.

An excellent but dry teaching method. Sometimes there are recognizable tunes, but it is mostly notehashing and scales. Makes for a great tool, but would be best supplemented with something more fun

Accidental Jesus Freak: One Woman's Journey From Fundamentalism to Freedom, by Amber Lea Starfire

Review

Accidental Jesus Freak is a compelling story of why a smart and creative woman wholeheartedly surrenders to a fanatical religious sect that repeatedly trashes her self-respect and abuses her emotionally. Starfire’s memoir is not just a courageous look at one woman’s awakening; it offers wisdom for all of us on how to recognize and claim our authentic selves, and create not just happiness, but lives that fulfill our hearts and spirits.—  Susan J. Tweit, award-winning author, speaker, teacher Gripping and beautifully told, harrowing and lovely, Amber Lea Starfire's Accidental Jesus Freak is an unforgettable story of what it means to follow in the orbit of others—her husband, religion, men who think they know better—only to finally realize she's a star with her own powerful gravity. Anyone who has ever sought their true path will be unable to put this story down.—  Jordan Rosenfeld, author of Women in Red and Forged in Grace. Amber Starfire’s ability to bring home a young woman’s life through the trials of religious misanthropy, marriage and ultimately her quest for identity and meaning makes for a wonderfully compelling and timely read. This is the journey of the feminine told with insight, vulnerability and honesty.—  Susan G. Weidener, author of Morning at Wellington Square, Again in a Heartbeat, and A Portrait of Love and Honor In Accidental Jesus Freak, Amber Lea Starfire tells a compelling personal story with eloquence and grace. That alone would be a praiseworthy. But there’s more. This memoir offers an unflinching view of a young woman’s journey from college music student seeking love, purpose and spiritual guidance, to born again Christian wife and mother who goes all-in to follow the tenets of her restrictive religion. Her path is fraught with adversity, but her resilience and drive ultimately enable her to create a life that is authentically hers. In a larger sense, this book contributes to understanding societal forces that shaped people’s lives in the second half of the twentieth century and continue to influence us today. And as a work of art, it stands as an example of the best of what memoirs have to offer.—  Laura McHale Holland author of Reversible Skirt and Resilient Ruin Amber Lee Starfire had a psychedelic-fueled conversion to religion that took her on the road and on the run through 1970s America and 1980s Europe. Living amid a spiritual, fundamentalist Christian community, she reports from the front of being deeply embedded in a communal sensibility and on what happens when she decides to create her own destiny and find a life of her own.—  Marion Roach Smith, author of The Memoir Project, A Thoroughly Non-Standardized Text for Writing & Life

A compelling read. I deeply appreciate Amber's candor and insight as she takes the reader through her personal journey for wisdom and balance. Having myself struggled with my own identity during the 70s, I can relate to Amber's inner regions as she slowly unveils her understanding of events and circumstances as she struggles to find herself. As I read the book, I was once again back in touch with the feel of the 70s and the environments that were havens for so many lost souls. I felt in some respects as if I was reliving the decade with all its sights, sounds, textures, and emotions. Amber beautifully weaves the feel of that tumultuous decade into her own turmoil and questions. I'm grateful for Amber's strength and influence. Yes, Amber you do matter!

Amber Lea Starfire has taken the journals of her life and given us the gift of sisterhood. As I read along, I saw myself in her words and actions. I was included in her life’s struggles—often like my own. Her personal growth is inherent in the feminine experience that crosses generations. If you struggle with personal power (who doesn’t?) and need inspiration--this is a book for you. If you struggle with religious doctrine (and the need to belong) to the point that you deny your own truth--this is a book for you. If you are a people pleaser, I guarantee that this is a book for you.

Amber Lea Starfire's second memoir, Accidental Jesus Freak, is another winner for the author. Amber was a young woman when she fell in love with Eric, a free-spirit who confesses he is "born again" just weeks after their wedding. This memoir follows Amber and her growing family, with Amber finding her voice and discovering what she is made of. Accidental Jesus Freak is a book for all genders and all ages. Start reading in the morning as you won't be able to put this book down!

In 1973, at 17 years old, Linda Carr fell in love and her life changed forever. Eric Peterson wasn't just handsome, but exuded creative energy that acted as a magnet. Eric's carefree personality drew Linda in and their relationship evolved during a time of love, drugs and music. As young adults they married, and shortly thereafter Eric revealed his "born again" status. During a drug induced haze, Linda made the decision to follow Eric and believe in his God, a move that was prompted by "an unconscious need for someone, anyone, to tell her/(me) how to live." What Linda didn't realize at the time was she had in essence, relinquished who she was to a doctrine she didn't even understand. Their life was in constant upheaval. Moving from state to state, relying on their music (and nothing but prayer) to bring people to Jesus and provide for their well being, left them living in run down shacks and homes. Doing her best to make the best of every situation for her growing family, Linda slowly begins to see Eric in a new light. While in Amsterdam, awaiting to join a ministry group, Linda hits rock bottom and finally sees past the barrier that has been pushed upon her. For years she has been a part of a fundamental group that has trampled down the woman she was meant to be. With some wise words from a pastor, Linda began to look at her life and decided to take control back, which in turn made her into the strong independent woman she is today. Accidental Jesus Freak is exactly as the title says, a "...journey from fundamentalism to freedom." Starfire recounts the life she lead buried in a stereotypical religious group, and the steps she took to escape that life.I enjoyed reading Starfire's story, it was an eye opening look into an extreme world that I know little about. As a person of faith, my experience has been completely different and my heart ached for Linda and all she endured. As although I may not agree with her personal conclusions, I found it to be a good read. This book isn't for everyone, but I recommend it for anyone who has an interest in religious groups and their effects on members. I also think it has an important message, as we all need to find out who we are and not rely on someone or something else to tell us who we need to be. Happy Reading.Â

Amber Lea Starfire takes the reader on a riveting and graphic trip into the heart of the Christian fundamentalist movement of the 70s. She follows a charismatic hippie musician into his music ministry, a world of rigid fundamental religious beliefs which leads to stifling poverty, instability and domination. She marries and bears two of his children, moving from commune to commune and bearing the responsibility for childrearing and household maintenance. The reader sees how she begins to lose her sense of identity and self-worth. The underlying conflict she reveals foreshadows her quest to find herself again. The most intriguing part of this memoir for me was how the author wove in the complicated relationship with her mother and siblings. I understood how she fell prey to a controlling man and movement. In facing her past, she found the strength to fight for herself and extricate herself from the shackles of a lifestyle that did not serve her needs. Her writing style is fluid and is filled with sensory details that pulled me in and helped me understand her conflict. Once I started reading it, I had a hard time putting it down. This memoir’s powerful message of personal empowerment and finding the courage to take back one’s life by being true to oneself will resonate with many readers. I highly recommend this courageous memoir.A riveting memoir about finding the courage to be true to oneself.

I am a sucker for an eye-catching cover and title that draws me to want to find out what a book is about. This one had me. And when I dove in, the book swept me along. A definite good read, without a doubt... But here is my one problem: the ending. We start off with a character named Drew who through his wild story -- that is laughed at -- in school draws Eevie and Tommy into an adventure in order to clear Drew's reputation. But at story's end there is no resolution for Drew. He simply disappears.Still, I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good cliffhanging adventure story.

I received this book free of charge as a promotional. I also got to have some input on the next book's cover art which was cool. This story was pretty short, due to the target audience is my guess. It was direct and to the point with no back story. The writing was excellent and the story was action packed. It definitely keeps your attention. It left me with questions though of how Tommy and Evie became friends. Have they done this sort of thing before? Some of the dialog eludes to the fact that they have. What happened to Drew and how does he fit into the end of the story? But this is me, an adult, reading a children's book...so that has to be kept in mind.

I was a bit disappointed that Drew was only part of the set up (and hope the poor kid gets his chance), but it was an engaging and action-packed story. The main characters Eevie and Tommy were clever, self-reliant, and very believable: people don’t give kids enough credit. Well written for a young adult audience, but a delightful quick read for an adult who likes to relax with young adult stories. I look forward to sharing this with my grand nephew when he’s old enough to read - I’ll be buying the paperback in preparation for that day!

Good story. Characters were interesting. Don't read the second book unless you like a cliff hangers. I would wish that the children would have had at least one adult on their side. Also, would have liked to have seen a little more common sense and less trial and error method of exploring.

Wow, the preview I read of this book had me on the edge of my seat waiting to read more and all of a sudden it ended leaving me to go and buy the book and the second one . It may be just a preview but it definitely leaves you wanting more of it and fast. Thank you for the free preview.

THIS IS A WILD ADVENTURE THAT YOU WILL WANT TO DISCOVER THE SURPISES TO THE END-REALLY A GOOD BOOK

I was always a fan of the Hardy Boys as a child. This book harkened back to those great books, and improved upon them! It is nice to see books like this coming out again, and I can put down the iPad for a while!

Out of all the books I have read in my lifetime this is one of the most inspiring, this book has taught me that even if you are a little weak if you have confidence you can get through anything. The kids in this book are very intelligent, and I would love to meet the author of this book one day.

For what it is, this book is excellent. No other guide of the mountains of Montana (with the exception of regional guides such as those for Glacier National Park) has ever been published. This book had one printing in 1986 and has never been reprinted, therefore, it is fairly rare to find for sale used (I found one copy after a couple of years of looking). It gives ratings on 1150 peaks, some of which contain extensive route descriptions, some of which are simply stated "SE ridge" or similar. It has helped me get a quick overview on a lot of different routes in Montana. -D Greaser.

Routes are not described well for many but overall book is excellent for getting heights and mountains grouped together

Reader thoughts: This one might be my favorite Narnia book of all. Why? More Aslan. The scenes with him talking to Shasta or Aravis, and I can imagine that their reactions would be how I'd react to God talking with me.And I love long-lost family returning to save the kingdom. (This is what I write, after all.) It's a bit like a retelling of Joseph or Lion King, except Shasta had no idea who he was.Oh, and the horses ran the show. Some authors have talking/magical animal companions, but they never rise above just pets. Paolini's dragons in Eragon have some personality and are almost full characters, but Lewis's horses here and Timothy Zahn's Draycos are clearly their own people, with their own thoughts and motivations. There's one point where Shasta is swinging a sword, and I love that he doesn't immediately become an expert. The ending is well-planned, too.Writer thoughts: One way Zahn brings Draycos to life is by having him learn to read (definitely a non-pet thing), and one way Lewis brings Bree and Hwin to life is by having them confess fears and pride (also definitely a non-pet thing). These authors know how to make their animals into real characters.

Of all of the beloved *The Chronicles of Narnia* books, my favorite since childhood has been *The Horse and His Boy*. The book is the closest to the idea of swash-buckling adventure that any young boy wants to read. Sword fights, knights, and steel-clashing battles are all there, plus intrigue. The story starts with a young boy named Shasta who is doing chores for his fisherman father at their home in a country far south of Narnia. The story is said by Lewis to take place in the time of the reign of the Pevensies, alluded to at the end of *The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe*, during what is referred to in the books themselves as the "golden age" of Narnia. One evening, a wealthy Calormene lord (for Calormen was the country in which they lived) came for lodging, and Shasta was turned out with even less supper than he normally received. He was not well-brought up, as his father did not truly loved him, and so he had learned very few good habits. Because of this, just out of boredom, and no sense of guile, he eavesdropped. What he heard told him all he needed to know of his life at that time. Arsheesh was *not* his father. In fact, he didn't love him at all, but was going to sell him into slavery to the Calormene lord.Young Shasta wandered outside and went to the stable area to think. He murmured to the lord's horse that he wished the animal could somehow tell him if he was going to a good master, or one as bad as, or worse than, his "father". He was utterly shocked when the horse said that he could, in fact, talk, and that his lord was a horrible master. The horse went on to expalin that he had been kidnapped as a young foal from his home in the northern country of Narnia where animals were talking Beasts. He despaired of how to escape from his predicament when the horse (who gave his name as Bree) proposed an escape, noticing that Shasta's different looks from others of his countrymen was likely due to his having "northern blood", or being from Narnia or Archenland.During their escape, they eventually meet up with two fellow escapees, Aravis Tarkheena, a nobleman's daughter, and her talking horse Hwin. Aravis was desperate to escape from an arranged murder to an old, evil man who is an assistant to the Tisroc (the lord of the realm).Eventually, they learn of a plot to overthrow the northern countries, and must race against time to save the very countries, and very freedom, for which they are hoping to escape to.Beyond the high sword play and intrigue described, there are also important lessons taught. Above all, these pertain to the foolishness of pride and the sovereignty of God. These are linked together by C. S. Lewis in the story, and for good reason. Pride is, at heart, the elevation of self and denial of God. We decide that we are able to handle things ourselves, and don't need the Lord's help. Even those who *claim* to depend on God, and put him above themselves, often do not. In fact, we often look down on others and treat them as less than ourselves. It might be those who have less money, lower grades, less education, or any other of numerous areas that we see as "deficient".Sometimes, this is not because of the areas above. Sometimes, it is more insidious. We meet folks who are down in their sins, or grumpy, or in the midst of some other deep moral or personal difficulty. We look at them with derision, or sympathy, but false sympathy. Like the Pharisee looking down on the tax collector in our Lord Jesus' parable in Luke 18:9-14. We are glad that we are not as "bad as they are", or we don't "have it as bad as they do". God has not made us suffer like *that*!This is what the characters in the story do to each other. Aravis the Human and Bree the Horse, look down on Shasta and Hwin. Shasta is of poor birth, and Hwin is not a great "warhorse" as Bree is. The ideas and views of Shasta and Hwin are viewed with contempt by Aravis and Bree, even when they are the views that are the ones that will work best.In the end, they see how they are not all that special in and of themselves, but special enough in the way that God, or Aslan, has chosen for them to be. Their pride and disdain for those of less supposed "nobility" or "worth" than themselves is laid to naught, and they are happier for it. They rejoice at the great plan of Aslan the Lion. Moreover, Shasta finds that the hard life he has suffered is something he has every reason to be upset about, but NOT to be bitter about. He has walked on the path that Aslan has chosen for him. The path that lead to him being the hero of the story.I have to admit that I did learn from this story myself. Indeed, I can see myself in all of the characters. I see my pride in Bree, but oddly mixed with Hwin's timidiy, and Shasta's self-doubt and self-pity. I am proud too often, but it is all bluster. When provoked, I am crushed like Hwin is, and I am filled with anger and self-pity as Shasta is. I feel angry for what I go through and have gone through, but I don't do what I need to go do get myself out of the situation. I am not even where Shasta is. My shyness, timidity, belief in my low worth, and other factors have put me here. I can see all of these fictional persons in my own self, and see a way out. With effort, I can put God first, put myself after Him where HE SEES FIT, and then, with His help, *do* what is necessary to better the situation. Before I close up this review. I want to deal with the perennial allegation that C. S. Lewis was being racist in this book. There are many arguments to point to against this ridiculous charge, but I will just point out the obvious fact that Aravis was a hero and racists don't do that, and moreover, part of the charge is purposeful dishonesty in support of relativism. Even those who acknowledge that Lewis was not racist by any standard defintion, still try to label him as such for daring to say that that countries of Narnia and Archenland, which are like the Christian countries he was used to in Great Britain and her one-time empire, are better culturally than other countries. This recognition that Lewis believed a Christian culture to be superior makes him a racist, in this pathetic reckoning. Well, I'm sorry, but if preferring one's culture to another, or one's country to another, or one's religion to another is racist, then man is naturally racist. He was a Christian, and an Englishman. As such, he favored the ideals and values inherent in these two characteristics of his own self.So for those who honestly think he was a racist, then the evidence is easily there that he wasn't. For those who think that he is a racist for viewing a Christian culture as superior than others, well, they are not worth the time. Ignore their baiting remarks, pray for them, and treat them kindly.*The Horse and His Boy* has it all. Sword-fighting, action, adventure, good moral lessons and application are all there for the reader to enjoy and learn from. A superb book, and (though others may disagree with me on this) the very *best* of the seven *Chronicles of Narnia* books.Highly Recommended.

Bought the audio version to listen to with my 4 boys and wife on road trip to grandparents at Christmas time. Amazing how quiet the car ride was with all paying attention to the entertaining voice work of the narrator. First of all --- it's a great story (book 3 of Chronicles of Narnia) best of all --- No arguing or bickering over the video games from the back seats....pricelessMade the entire trip more enjoyable and me and the wife may have enjoyed it even more than our kids did. Highly recommend

A young boy named Shasta and a talking horse he calls Bree run away toward Narnia. They are joined along the way by another talking horse and a young girl. When they bump into a group of Narnians, Shasta is mistaken for a prince. After learning information about an impending attack, Shasta sets out to warn those in danger. Most of the book was interesting and I wanted to know what was going to happen. Parts dragged along. On occasion I just didn’t care about the characters I should have. I found Aslan to be annoyingly preachy on occasion, like Lewis tried too hard to make it obvious that he was the Christ character. The Horse and His Boy is worth reading once, but it’s probably not going to be one I ever reread again.

so Narnia isn't all about Peter and Susan and Edmund and Lucy, is it? I had read these books when I was younger but mostly forgot them except of course the lion, the witch and the wardrobe until the recent movies came out. this one is and the magicians nephew are just as good as the others and I wonder why they weren't made into movies. it explains a little about what happened during the reign of high king Peter before returning to earth and I think also sets up the war between Narnia and the Calormenes which is talked about in the next book Prince Caspian. speaking of which, I'm going to start that one right now! this is a fine book for kids and grown ups alike!

Lewis' best Narnia book, hands-down! I've often wondered why I love this book best (and I've read the whole series several times and The Horse and His Boy several more times). It's very hard to pin down, but one strength is that it is all set in-world, letting us get to know the settings and characters more intimately, perhaps. It's a satisfying coming-of-age story, and has many small, satisfying details scattered throughout like chocolate chips in a cookie: descriptions of sumptuous meals or of the sea in the distance or of a difficult gallop across the desert. The Pevensie children have fun cameos.Such a fun, satisfying read!

The Highly Sensitive Child: Helping Our Children Thrive When The World Overwhelms Them

From Publishers Weekly

As a highly sensitive person (HSP) herself and a psychotherapist, Aron is in a strong position to provide guidance to parents who are raising highly sensitive children (HSCs), and provides here a wealth of useful suggestions and case studies. The author, who has studied and written about what she calls "high sensitivity" (The Highly Sensitive Person), states that this is a personality trait that occurs in 15% to 20% of the population. Although HSCs tend to be "empathetic, smart, intuitive, careful and conscientious," they are also easily overstimulated and require informed parenting in order to prevent temper tantrums, stress illnesses and the avoidance of pleasurable group activities. Aron offers helpful advice that will assist both nonsensitive and highly sensitive parents through all stages of their child's development from infancy to adolescence. For example, since HSCs have great difficulty with change, it is necessary to prepare them gently so that they do not feel powerless during transitions. According to the author, there are four basic strategies that will help an HSC to become a happy adult: parents should foster their child's self-esteem, try to reduce the feelings of shame HSCs may develop because they are different, employ only mild positive discipline and learn how to talk positively to teachers and friends about their HSC so that interactions will be productive.Copyright 2002 Reed Business Information, Inc.

From the Inside Flap

The bestselling author and psychologist whose books have topped 240,000 copies in print now addresses the trait of “high sensitivity” in children–and offers a breakthrough parenting guidebook for highly sensitive children and their caregivers. With the publication of The Highly Sensitive Person, Elaine Aron became the first person to identify the inborn trait of “high sensitivity” and to show how it affects the lives of those who possess it. Up to 20 percent of the population is born highly sensitive, and now in The Highly Sensitive Child, Aron shifts her focus to highly sensitive children, who share the same characteristics as highly sensitive adults and thus face unique challenges as they grow up.

As an HSP myself, reading "The Highly Sensitive Child" offered invigorating insight into the mind and heart of my oldest daughter, who is also highly sensitive. For many years, she and I have butted heads over nearly everything, and after reading this book, I was both humbled and empowered to reach her in a new way.Dr. Elaine Aron's practical tips in each chapter, particularly breaking down the developmental age groups, were refreshing, clear, and easy to implement. My husband and I have been discussing, at length, how we can foster our daughter's gifts in a more meaningful way and reframe her sensitivity as neutral, rather than the perceived "bad" that the world defines it as.My favorite aspect of the book included recognizing how highly sensitive children require lots of rest, breaks, and sleep; that they thrive within a routine and usually need help transitioning with life changes; how to help them cope with verbal or social aggression at school; and ways to facilitate conversation with older children or role play with younger ones. Our daughter was bullied in preschool, and my husband and I approached her teacher, to no avail. Had I read this book beforehand, I would have been able to offer concrete solutions on how to understand and help HSCs with the "teacher tips" at the end of the book.Having read "The Highly Sensitive Person" before "The Highly Sensitive Child," I would "highly" recommend both books, especially if a parent suspects that his/her child may be highly sensitive, as well. Both together offer a full picture into understanding oneself and children who may have been labeled "shy" (which is situational), but who are actually just sensitive.A great read for parents and teachers alike.

I bought this book to help my granddaughter, who is the spitting image of me. As I read, I was struck that not only is my granddaughter a highly sensitive child, she looks exactly like her grandmother who is finding out she is also the same. It explains so much to me and now I can see things clearer and I know why my granddaughter and I are so close. We understand each other. I also see my job as educating her very busy parents, who find some of her behavior bizarre and interpret her as being 'difficult' or 'pretending'. It is our task to help raise her to not only cope with a wildly stimulating and often crude world, but to flourish at the same time. A worthy read.

If you are maybe questioning if you have a HSP child then buy this book. If you know you have an HSP child then definitely buy this book! It's hard. It's hard to understand where your child is coming from sometimes, hard to know what to do and I tend to be hard on myself. All that to say this book gives a lot of good insight and suggestions on how to help your child in ways they will respond to.

From birth, my son has been very sensitive and though I had no issue with this, I was constantly receiving unwanted advice/comments about his temperament from family members. This book has offered me insight on how to handle the critics!

There are many helpful concepts in this book. I now understand my daughter better and am hopefully a better parent for it. My only complaint is that I wish there were a more comprehensive section on school stress.

This is a great book for anybody that is HS or has an HSC. I bought a second copy and donated it to my sons school to help them better understand what it's like for him.

Was almost done reading when someone was looking at it and lost it! Still upset about that. haha. So definitely had to buy a new one and well, getting more out of it reading again! Perfect book for explaining what a highly sensitive person is. It was like reading my own journal from childhood and set me free of false perceptions about myself and my baby.

Very well written book by an expert in the field who also happens to be highly sensitive-so she knows the subject personally as well as experimentally. Does not require technical expertise to read and understand, but very well documented for those who want that detail. Book written in 2002, but recent editions have an extensive forward/chapter that summarizes recent research and how to approach these kids. First chapter contains a list of yes/no questions that help you decide if your child fits into this category. This book was a real eye-opener !
