Jons academy is great!! and his books are good too! This book makes me smile as a nice reminder of why i started the nursing school journey..I showed it to my daughter and she loves the pictures .. she smiles and giggles when i get to the letter N for Nurses.. It was a great way to explain to her why her mom was working so hard

Jon comes out with wonderful material and this cute little book lives up to that standard. Its very inspirational and heartfelt. As a nursing student, this book will be good to read through when im feeling stressed. Its a good reminder of why i am doing all of this. At the end of my program when i graduate, it will make a cute gift to an incoming nursing student who is new and scared like i am now.

There is some shared disappointment among nurses today because we find we spend more time doing paper work than actual hands on nursing. We find bigger patient loads and time constraints prevent us from spending that quality time with our patients that not only make them feel better, but gives us self satisfaction in making a difference in a life.N is for nurse is a wonderful book that is a must have for all nurses. Each letter of the alphabet is a reaffirmation of why we are nurses and though it may be frustrating at times to be a nurse N for Nurse is a huge reminder of why we are.

After having a rough 15 hour shift I got home and read N is for Nurse. It was just what I needed to remind me why I do what I do and why nursing is my calling.

I thought this was a very cute book! I look forward to reading it to my daughter so she can see all the reasons why I had to leave home and what I studied so hard for. I love the art work in this book too. If I had to pick just one thing I loved most about it, it would be that it serves as a reminder to be humble and remember why we became (or are becoming) nurses. After being in the medical field for a long time, I've seen people get burned out so this book is a cute reminder of why we do what we do.

This book is very uplifting. I recommend it to all my nursing friends, and encourage them to read it at least once a week.

I started using Jon's products with NRSNG Academy and they it have helped me a lot in school. That left me with high expectations for this product and I was definitely not disappointed. It is very well written and also cute enough that i can share with my children about what nurses are and why mommy is a nurse. Very well written and I would highly recommend this book!

Yet, dividends represent a synthetic measure of cash and, therefore, often do not present an accurate view of the value creation process in terms of cash flows.This book aims to overcome the limitations the variations in bank-specifics impose by providing a bank-specific valuation theoretical framework and a new asset-side model. The book includes also a constructive comparison of equity and asset side methods. The authors present a novel framework entitled, the “Asset Mark-down Model”. This method incorporates an Adjusted Present Value model, which allows practitioners to identify the main value creation sources of a particular bank: from asset-based cash flow and the mark-down on deposits, to tax benefits on bearing liabilities. Through the implementation of this framework, the authors offer a more accurate and more specific approach to valuing banks.

Federico Beltrame is Lecturer in Banking and Finance in the Department of Economics and Statistics, University of Udine, Italy. He holds a PhD in Business Science from the same University. His main research interests are related to SMEs’ cost of capital, banks’ capital structure and Mutual Guarantee Credit Institutions.  Daniele Previtali is post-doc fellow and lecturer at Luiss Guido Carli University, Rome, Italy. He holds a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from University of Rome, Tor Vergata, Italy. In 2012, he was a visiting PhD candidate at Stern School of Business, New York, USA. His main research interests concern banks valuation, banks’ capital structure and innovation.

About the Author

In 1989, Jim Weiss set out on a mission: to record the greatest stories he knew from world literature and history, and inspire families -- especially young listeners -- with a passionate love of the original classics. In the three decades since then, Jim's narration voice and seemingly numberless character voices have formed foundational entertainment and education for millions of listeners around the world. Winning hundreds of awards, Jim’s recordings range on the literary side from fairy tales through stories from Shakespeare, Dickens and Conan Doyle, while his history recordings bring to vivid life major historical events and personalities from the ancient world through the twentieth century. This is an essential book for Red Wings fans, for obvious reason. This is also an essential book for those who know themselves and seek self-improvement, which is one of the Marine Corps Leadership Principles. A great leader will read this book and use its teachings in their daily life. While reading this book, I was reading it in Mike Babcock's voice in my head and that provided extra entertainment value. This book was written after the 2010 Vancouver Team Canada Gold Medal game and came out within 2 years of that event. He touches on it quite a bit and the events leading up to it. Everything is all tied into his basic tenets of leadership. He has a very direct way of leading and its admirable. This is also a very inspirational book and really inspires you to want to change your workplace, interpersonal relationship, etc for the better. I can't recommend this enough. It's about 130 pages and a good portion of the pages are only half full with lots of spacing between short paragraphs. It should take you about 60-90 minutes to read. It's VERY quick but VERY awesome.

This is the most unique hockey book I have read. A bit of an autobiography, a glimpse inside Team Canada, tidbits about the NHL-World Juniors-Canadian College Hockey and a lot of leadership philosophy.It seemed light and repetitive as I was reading it but became succinct when finished.There is no question that Babcock is a winner. I'm still a bit unclear what makes him so great.The old Blue Line Steve would ask how hard is it really to win coaching Team Canada and the Detroit Red Wings? Crosby or Toews? Zetterberg or Datsyuk? Like Bowman before him Babcock hasn't had to coach a Panthers or Predators.Regardless this was the best of the hockey books I have read over the past several years.

I could relate to every aspect of the book I am a Saskatoon Holy Cross Grad, a Saskatoon Junior "b" hockey player, a retired PE teacher, I lived in the Red Deer area, I live in Michigan now, I enjoy stategic goal setting, I know the author Rick, I appreciate that success does not happen without effort, This list could go on.I plan to read the book again.The first time I read the book I read it cover to cover in one sitting. It was captivating.The writing style is unique. And the page layout helped to emphasize that. I discribe the style as being "almost point form with just enough information to capture the message".The authors did cover what the title suggested: "Leave no Doubt: A Credo for Chasing your Dreams" but the "take home message" was different for me. It was the "behind the scene aspects of achieving gold in Hockey" that carried the story for me

This book is excellent! I am a little biased because I personally know Mike but, his comments and words to live by are extremely genuine and a reflection of who he is! Don't expect an autobiography but more of a tool for motivation and how he motivated Team Canada in segments during the Olympics and how those little motivations had a personal investment in his life.

I am writing this review on the day of Team Canada's gold medal win at Sochi. I bought the book today and read it in one sitting. Coach Babcock's words are perhaps even more true now than in 2010. His philosophy contains basic truths of benefit to all of us. His thoughts on clarity of vision, preparation, knowing when to change gears, humility, perseverance, and learning from others apply not just to sports or business but to just about all aspects of modern life. The fact that Team Canada was successful in their title defence against fierce opposition demonstrates the plain spoken wisdom and utility of Coach Babcock's hard won insights.

I'm an American and this book absolutely bleeds Canadian patriotism. I have a lot of respect for the man behind the message though. Mike Babcock in my opinion is the best coach in the game, and his competitive spirit on and off the ice can be seen in the simple messages he lets resonate in his book.
